Saw this manatee today on my walk along the Intracoastal. Also found a million dollar bill with our 19th president Rutherford B. Hayes on the front and a sermon about going to heaven on the back. I also found appointment cards, one for Hair by Jeanne, in Davie, and one for Dr. Stephen Clifford, MD, in North Miami. The iguana who sits on the stump of an Australian pine and usually seems disinterested when I pass, got up on his forelegs and bobbed his head up and down. A threat?

May 1st, or May Day, is officially recognized the world over as a day to honor those who have lost their lives and freedom in the fight for fair labor standards. The undersigned believe that the federal government is committing a profound injustice upon the legacy of left-wing activists throughout this nation's history, without whom we would not have established such cherished traditions as the 8-hour work day and the work weekend. We ask that this injustice begin to be rectified with the symbolic act of moving Labor Day from September to it's rightful place of May 1st. You can sign the petition here.
Welcome to the beach! (As always, we have trouble here with spelling and apostrophes.)
